European Basketball Championship U-20

Towns of Nova Gorica and Gorica are swarming with very tall young men these days. Namely, european basketball championship U-20 started here yesterday. This is the first official championship organized in two different countries - Nova Gorica is in Slovenia, and Gorica is in Italy.

During next ten days, besides sixteen national teams competing for medals, in both towns numerous side-events will be organised. All the information about championship, daily results, other interesting events and more, can be obtained from the Championships website. Arctur is the championships sponsor behind the website, to boast just a bit. And of course, Arctur team will be rooting for Slovenia team, who apparently is a strong candidate for one of the medals!
