mathematical modeling
Mathematical modeling is a powerful tool for research in numerous areas, both for the generation of hypotheses and to lend support to experimental results, making research more efficient and economical than physical testing.
The larger the amount of information and data encompassed in mathematical models, the more realistic the results of simulations will be. Advanced models require that objects are first described in detail mathematcially (modeled) so that the supercomputers can understand them. We achieve this through appropriate data structures and algorithms, with varying methods for different computing architectures, which are based on advanced statistics and other mathematical fields.
