AI engineer

We are looking for an AI Engineer (m/f) to become part of our AI & HPC team and to contribute with research and development in the field of artificial intelligence.

What does an AI Engineer do at Arctur?

You will perform applied and exploratory AI development, with a strong focus on research and experimentation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the design, testing, and optimization of machine learning models, including deep learning and LLMs. Your work will involve reviewing academic literature, prototyping new approaches, and evaluating model performance on real-world data. We value curiosity, initiative in exploring new methods and technologies, and a collaborative spirit when it comes to sharing findings and best practices with the team.

We are looking for AI engineers with BSc or MSc in Information Technology or similar educational background and 3+ years of experience with:

• Development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models, including deep learning and advanced algorithms.
• Research of AI methods and approaches to enhance existing solutions or develop new ones.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Jupyter.
• Data processing and analysis, including data cleaning, preparation, and working with large and complex datasets.
• Understanding of data flows and integrations, including SQL/NoSQL databases and APIs.
• Utilization of high-performance computing (HPC) for training and optimizing computationally intensive AI models.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and integration into applications.
