AgriNext IT Platform – A Digital Learning Environment
The platform is designed to support training, collaboration, and knowledge exchange in multifunctional agriculture, bringing together educators, students, mentors, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders across Europe. It provides access to training opportunities, knowledge resources, and a collaborative space for sharing experiences and practices.
Developed by Arctur within the Erasmus+ AgriNext project—an international initiative focused on strengthening skills and competencies in agriculture—the platform responds to evolving labour market needs and supports the transition towards more sustainable and innovative farming systems.
“With the AgriNext IT Platform, we created a digital environment that combines learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. By actively involving users in content creation, the platform evolves through the contributions of its community,” said Martina Golob, Project Manager at Arctur - the AgriNext project partner responsible for platform development.
At its core is an interactive learning environment with structured online courses, including “Training for Guidance Service Providers (GSPs)” and “Training Teachers for Up-to-Date Competences in Multifunctional Agriculture”.The courses combine expert content with interactive exercises that encourage practical application in participants’ professional contexts. Activities such as the Reflection Task and Real-Life Challenge encourage participants to share examples from their own environments, making learners active contributors to a community-based learning process. By exploring others’ contributions, participants gain insights into diverse approaches to current challenges in multifunctional agriculture.
In addition to its core training offer, the platform provides a range of additional features that enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing, including networking among incubators via forum discussions, a comprehensive knowledge base, podcasts, internship and job opportunities, and updates on news, events, and EU project opportunities.
“The platform brings together knowledge resources and training programmes for teachers and guidance service providers in one place, while also offering opportunities for students and young farmers to develop their own initiatives,” said Nina Kaličanin, representative of BC Naklo – the AgriNext project coordinator.
The AgriNext IT Platform provides a modern environment that integrates learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to support the development of skills for sustainable and innovative agriculture.
