Arctur presents HPC cloud services and progress on EU projects at Bura launch in Rijeka
Supercomputer was unveiled by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. The event was powered by conference, workshops and exhibitions in the field of high-performance computing, cloud computing and storage.
The Bura supercomputer was designed and manufactured by Bull, and is located at the University of Rijeka. It provides students, scientists and industry with opportunities for further education, biotechnological research, and scientific work.
Arctur presented HPC cloud services as well as the progress on several EU projects, dealing with high-performance computing, cloud computing and storage, such asNextGenIO, CAxMan and IOStack. Some projects, especially NextGenIO, addresses the challenges with exascale computing and Bull, the provider of Bura supercomputer is paving the path to exascale with it's Sequana project.
