Strengthening Collaboration: AgriNext Meeting in Rovinj

25. 9. 2025 / Project announcements During the recent AgriNext transnational project meeting, held in Rovinj from 23 to 25 September 2025, project partners came together to review progress, align on next steps, and discuss several key components of the initiative—including the AgriNext IT Platform, which is currently under development.

A dedicated workshop session introduced the platform to partners, offering hands-on insight into its content management system and overall structure. Participants explored its functionalities and contributed their first content inputs, helping to shape the platform’s initial learning resources and networking tools.

The AgriNext Platform is being developed as a centralized digital hub for multifunctional agriculture, with a beta release planned by the end of 2025. It will serve a broad community of stakeholders—including students, teachers, trainers, employers, and policymakers—by supporting collaboration, vocational education, and rural development.

Key planned features include:

  • Incubators & Networking – A space for agri-entrepreneurs and incubators to collaborate and exchange expertise.
  • Trainings & Knowledge Base – A repository of learning materials, best practices, and EU project opportunities.
  • Internships & Job Opportunities – A job board connecting learners with employers in the agricultural sector.
  • News, Podcasts & Events – A dynamic section for updates, insights, and community contributions.

The platform is being developed by Arctur, an AgriNext partner, with active contributions from other partners who provide feedback, test functionalities, and develop initial content. Its future effectiveness will depend on this collaborative process, ensuring the platform responds to the real needs of its users.

While still in development, the platform shows strong potential to become an important tool for knowledge sharing, professional networking, and innovation in multifunctional agriculture. The Rovinj meeting represented a valuable step forward, highlighting both progress made and the essential role of partner collaboration in shaping the next phases of AgriNext.
