Arctur d.o.o., coordinator of the PHOENIX 4.0 project, is looking for an external expert to support the evaluation of proposals submitted under the PHOENIX 4.0 “Call for Competition” within the Alliance Initiatives Programme.

This call supports innovative collaborative projects by tourism SMEs, with a focus on resilience, sustainability, and digital innovation, translating the objectives of the Transition Pathway for Tourism into practical solutions. Selected projects will receive lump-sum financial support (€25,000; €15,000 for Kosovo).

What the evaluator will do
The selected external evaluator will:

  • evaluate all proposals managed by Arctur for Slovenia (applications may be submitted in Slovene; evaluation reporting is in English),
  • provide qualitative feedback and quantitative scoring using the official templates,
  • participate in two online evaluation panel meetings (briefing and consensus/ranking confirmation),
  • comply with confidentiality and conflict-of-interest requirements.

A pitch evaluation is expected to take place during the online National Demo Days (week of 23–26 March 2026). For Arctur, the pitch evaluation is tentatively foreseen for 25 March 2026, subject to confirmation.

Who can apply
Applicants should have:

  • at least 5 years of experience in the tourism sector and EU-funded projects,
  • knowledge of innovation related to resilience, sustainability and/or digital innovation,
  • knowledge of the Slovenian tourism context,
  • proficiency in Slovenian and English (minimum B2 in each).
