ARCTUR is co-mentoring innovative projects of students of the University of Montenegro and of the University of Donja Gorica

DigNEST project is in its 3rd year of implementation, and some relevant key results were already achieved. By the two Montenegrin universities, UCG and UDG, there was established Montenegrin Digital Academic Innovation Hub (MNE DAIH) with a key mission to become a place to advance research, innovation, and education as well as to turn research results and innovative ideas into marketable products by bringing together faculty and students across disciplines and enhancing the development of industry 4.0 in Montenegro. It serves as a catalyst of knowledge and skills at Montenegrin academic institutions, connects the national innovation ecosystem with the industry and business sector, and strengthens the digitization process and use of emerging technologies at the national level. Within the newly established MNE DAIH, the open call was launched and there were selected 22 best innovative students’ ideas, for conducting mentoring supporting program in the field of digitized health and agriculture.
Arctur is co-mentoring and following 8 students' innovative projects. According to Arctur’s opinion, some ideas are really innovative, very interesting, and up to date - taking into account the actual demand or need on the market. Arctur is offering to students support from a technical point of view as well as from a user point of view. Some of the projects could be even relevant for the usage of HPC services and some of them have great potential for a start-up.
We do believe that MNE Academic DIH has a real potential to establish a successful environment that will be connecting business & industry with the academic sphere. Somehow students' ideas are already proving this.
