HR specialist

We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with day-to-day HR operations, but thinks bigger: how to build practices that make people’s work easier and help the company keep developing.

Arctur is a place of high pace and constant change. We’re growing, delivering demanding projects, and we know that growth also reshapes a company’s culture. And since we don’t just follow change — we help create it — we’re strengthening our HR function.

The areas you’ll own…

  • Organising employee care programmes and internal events (team buildings, quarterly all-hands, gifting, wellbeing initiatives, company-wide trainings, etc.).
  • Building our employer brand: partnerships with schools, internship programmes, co-creating learning formats, hackathons, and any other ideas you bring to life.
  • Owning HR documentation (contracts, annexes, records, leave tracking, confirmations, documentation, training records) — accurately, on time, and with integrity.
  • Owning employee data: if you join early enough, you’ll help implement a new HR system; afterwards you’ll keep data entries clean, consistent, and ensure disciplined usage.

…and the areas we’ll build together

  • Consolidating HR practices after rapid growth: simple processes, templates, routines, and “how we do things here” that actually stick.
  • Running and improving recruitment and onboarding — both optimisation and meaningful content upgrades.
  • Planning employee development and learning, and translating our rich internal know-how into a clear, usable format.
  • Working as sparring partners: you spot the gaps, propose improvements, we decide — and you drive implementation.
  • Pitching in on things that aren’t “textbook HR” — because we’re a small team and we help each other.

In reality, the role will be shaped by the person — so we’re keeping the door open for the final scope to look a bit different.

Who will thrive here?

  • You’re operational, responsive and practical — and you also bring organisation and the ability to think long-term so things hold over time.
  • It’s hard to imagine HR without being close to people, so we’re looking for someone who is primarily on-site (our HQ is in Nova Gorica). Working from home occasionally is absolutely fine, but presence matters.
  • You have high integrity and discretion — you know you’ll be handling some of the most sensitive data in the company.
  • You have at least 3 years of HR experience, ideally in a hands-on generalist role.
  • You understand employment frameworks and HR admin processes well enough to work independently — and you know when to involve external experts or check in with colleagues.
