Arctur contributed to the EUROCC@Montenegro Conference
Arctur is proud partner of the Eurocc project and is part of the Slovene National Competence Center SLING. Arctur members actively participated at the EUROCCME2022 conference which was hosted by University of Donja Gorica and organsied under the auspieces of the EUROCC Project team. The conference was held in Budva, Montenegro, 6-9 September.
The conference reunited over 200 experts from 33 member countries of EuroHPC JU– Horizon2020 program to discuss the future of the HPC and state-of-the-art technologies landscape in Europe, emphasising the importance of the EuroCC project and sharing good practices from the NCCs. HPC & Data Center Manager, Tristan Pahor together with Dr. Bastian Koller, Deputy Director of the HLRS, contributed to the workshop dedicated to discussing access for commercial users to the public HPC infrastructure and drawing the guideliness for future activities.
Tomi Ilijaš, Arctur´s CEO held the workshop titled "HPC4SMES", presenting the benefits HPC brings to industry and introducing the HPC4SME tool, which offers SMEs the opportunity to discover if and how the organisation can benefit from HPC services. Sanja Nikolić, UDG, presented the use of HPC4SME tool in Montengrian market and highlighted the impressive results. On the last day of the conference Tina Č. Marc, HPC Project manager moderated the FF4EuroHPC session and presented this inspiring R&D project. Claudio Arlandini, CINECA and Stevan Čakić, UDG, presented the success stories they have been working on and showed the results and benefits the organisation gained by implementing technologies in agriculture and maritime sector.
