Arctur Launches Local Initiatives for AI4VET4AI Project, Inspiring Students on the Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence
As one of the 26 partners involved in the AI4VET4AI European project, Arctur is actively raising awareness about AI-related topics in the local community. On December 5th, Arctur hosted 26 students from Higher Vocational College Nova Gorica, aiming to share our expertise and practices related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). The session, titled "AI: What is Behind the Door," was conducted by Samo Eržen, an IT development engineer at Arctur. The lesson covered intriguing topics such as Narrow AI, Generative AI, and the future of AI. The event was evaluated as very inspiring, innovative, creative, up-to-date, and eye-opening.
This event marks the initiation of Arctur's local activities within the AI4VET4AI project. Over the next four years, AI4VET4AI will actively address the growing demand for skilled workers in the AI field by fostering the development of an AI-proficient workforce in Europe. The project places special emphasis on Vocational Education and Training (VET) teachers and learners. The primary objective of AI4VET4AI is to contribute to the digital transformation of the EU labour market. This will be achieved by incorporating innovative teaching content and methods into VET curricula across 11 European countries and 18 EU NUTS2 regions.
