In the PD (pilot demonstration) project, Gorenje will work with partners Dewesoft and Arctur to develop a low-emission washing machine, a low-emission refrigerator, and relevant infrastructure and system for home appliance verification. The newly developed low-emission washing machines will offer functionalities that will cut consumption of water, energy, and detergent, and noise emissions. Optimized washing algorithms will reduce the wear of the laundry and thus cut microplastics emissions into the environment. Two types of low-emission refrigerators will be newly developed: a refrigerator in the highest energy efficiency class A, and a refrigerator with very low noise level of 32 dB, which will be at the very top of the offer in the market. Environmentally friendly transport packaging will be introduced for the newly developed washing machines to replace the currently used EPS packaging.
Newly established infrastructure and home appliance verification systems will allow characterization and evaluation of very low noise amplitudes, low-frequency noise, and an option to evaluate and characterize the psychoacoustic noise parameters.
In the PD project, the company Dewesoft will develop a system for measurement triggering and calculation of very low noise level loads. Dedicated newly developed software will allow using a variety of enabling technology tools and machine learning techniques for data processing. Moreover, additional software development will allow the use of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies.
In the PD project, the company Arctur will improve methodology and introduce new approaches for better effect of optimization and simulations, and digital twins in development of low-emission refrigerators. This will be attained by implementation of a new computer simulation, by defining a digital twin for real-time forecasts of noise emissions, energy consumption etc., and by proposing a more accurate planning process.

V okviru PD projekta bo Gorenje skupaj s partnerjema Dewesoft in Arctur razvilo nizkoemisijski pralni stroj in nizkoemisijski hladilnik ter ustrezno infrastrukturo in sisteme za verifikacijo gospodinjskih aparatov. Novorazviti nizko emisijski pralni stroji bodo imeli funkcionalnosti, ki bodo zniževale porabo vode, energije in pralnega sredstva ter emisije hrupa. Zaradi optimiziranih algoritmov pranja bo obraba perila nižja, s tem pa bo zmanjšana tudi emisija mikroplastike v okolje. Novorazviti nizkoemisijski hladilnik pa bo razvit v dveh tipih, tj. hladilnik najvišjega energijskega razreda A in hladilnik z zelo nizkim nivojem hrupa 32 dB, kar bo sodilo povsem v vrh ponudbe na trgu. Uvedena bo okolju prijazna biorazgradljiva transportna embalaža za potrebe embaliranja novorazvitih pralnih strojev, ki bo nadomestila trenutno embalažo EPS.
Novo vzpostavljena infrastruktura in sistemi za verifikacijo gospodinjskih aparatov bodo omogočali karakterizacijo in vrednotenje izredno nizkih amplitud hrupa, nizkofrekvenčnega hrupa ter možnost vrednotenja in karakterizacije psihoakustičnih parametrov hrupa.
Podjetje Dewesoft bo v sklopu PD projekta razvilo sistem za proženje meritev in izračunavanje obremenitev z zelo nizkimi stopnjami hrupnosti. Z namensko razvito programsko opremo bo mogoče za obdelavo podatkov uporabiti različna orodja omogočitvenih tehnologij in tehnik strojnega učenja. Prav tako se bo z dodatnim razvojem programske opreme omogočila uporaba tehnologij interneta stvari (IoT).
V sklopu PD projekta bo podjetje Arctur izboljšalo metodologijo in uvedlo nove pristope za večji učinek optimizacij, simulacij in digitalnih dvojčkov pri razvoju nizkoemisijskih hladilnikov. To bo doseženo z implementacijo nove računalniške simulacije, z definiranjem digitalnega dvojčka za realne časovne napovedi emisij hrupa, porabe energije itd. in s predlogom natančnejšega procesa načrtovanja.
